Growing conditions: Summerland vineyard - sandy loam top soil on sandy silt sub-soils Black Sage Terrace vineyard - sandy loam on granitic & feldspar sand.
Winemaking notes: De-stemmed and crushed into 1-ton open top fermenters, spontaneous ferment, 19-day maceration. Aged 4 months in stainless steel on yeast lees. Production - 144 cases.
